Nestled away in the heart of El Yunque forest, Casa Flamboyant is truly one of Puerto Rico's best kept secrets. This all pink BNB is the perfect combination of luxury and nature that is accommodating, comfortable, and absolutely stunning to see in person. Casa Flamboyant was truly and eye-opening experience absolutely worth visiting if you plan to visit Puerto Rico.

Casa Flamboyant - In the Heart of El Yunque National Forest
Located around 70 minutes outside of the hustle and bustle of San Juan, this 5 room building was originally built by a famous art collector as the perfect Caribbean party getaway. With guests like Andy Warhol and other famous celebrities and artists, the walls of this remarkable BNB hold quite a lot of character.

The Unique Rooms of Casa Flamboyant

The entire property itself has five total bedrooms, three of which are available for accommodation.
Taino Room
First, there is the Taino room, which is Casa Flamboyant's most intimate room located in the central lobby/house. This cozy 100 sq ft room is accessible via the wrap-around veranda or the house itself.
Ginger Terrace Room
Next, the adorable Ginger Terrace Room has it's own private entrance with a stunning view of two of El Yunque forests epic waterfalls. The quiet suite also has a private bathroom and its own stunning balcony in the 143 sq ft living area.

Rainbow Room
Lastly, we had the pleasure of staying in Casa Flamboyant's most stunning suite, the Rainbow Room. With 325 sq ft of living space, it's own living room, and immaculate private bathroom, few BNB's across the world can rival this one-of-a-kind accommodation.

The Best Part of BNB's...Breakfast!
Not only do you get to enjoy the stunning views, you also get an unforgettably delicious breakfast every morning. Owner, Florin, prepares high-end restaurant quality meals with locally-sourced organic foods. They take pride in working directly with the community to get the freshest, tastiest ingredients for your breakfast.

A little pointer: since Casa Flamboyant is nestled roughly 8km deep into the hills of El Yunque forest, they recommend for you to bring extra food for lunch and dinner if you plan on staying around the hotel in the evening. They provide a grill for you to cook outdoors or you can drive into town for a tasty local bite to eat.

Pool Time at Casa Flamboyant

Not only is this pool a breathtaking site to see, the infinity pool is entirely from fresh spring water. Amazingly, all the water comes directly from a mountain spring source. It truly doesn't get any fresher than that! Plus, how many can say they went swimming in a spring-water infinity pool in El Yunque Forest?

The Mastermind's Behind Casa Flamboyant
Not only do you get an unparalleled BNB experience, you also get the absolute BEST service at Casa Flamboyant. We were so grateful and happy to have Florin and Ricky as our amazing hosts. They truly made us feel like home and as if we had known them for years! Plus, they were so helpful with suggestions for places to eat and things to do.

Let's also not forget the best tour guide of all, Obie the king of the house!

If you're planning on visiting Puerto Rico, you absolutely MUST check out Casa Flamboyant.
