My fellow Los Angeles friends! If you've never heard of the Huntington Gardens, don't be alarmed. This beautiful oasis is a hidden gem that many busy LA residents fail to notice. However, just because it has a discreet disposition doesn't at all mean it sacrifices quality. The Huntington Gardens has, by far, one of the most beautiful sites to see.

For those who haven't gotten a chance to visit Japan, you can easily visit the Japanese Gardens. Underneath this gorgeous scenery are happy koi fish, flourishing lily pads, and a serene scene that looks straight out of Kyoto.

Also, if you haven't noticed already, the gardens are basically in a bamboo forest. Even on a day at 95 degrees F, we still stayed cool under the tall leaves of bamboo.

We were so pleased with the gardens that we ended up getting a membership. With the purchase of a ticket, you can exchange your day pass as credit towards a yearly membership. The membership covers up to 2 people in one household, so we got two for the price of one.
So, if you're thinking about doing something fun in Los Angeles, stop by the Huntington Gardens. Believe me, this is a site you won't want to miss!
