The Novotel Lima feels like a brand new hotel. Located in the heart of San Isidro, it's placed in convenient walking distance from countless restaurants and ample shopping. San Isidro is a wealthier area of Peru and you can feel safe walking around, even at night.
We landed at the Jorge Chávez International Airport in the evening. We were able to order an Uber from the airport and the ride just cost about 10 bucks. If you are planning on booking an Uber from airport, just note that the Uber driver will probably call you to confirm your location. Our Uber driver happened to speak Spanish, so it was no problem, but you might need to speak some Spanish if you have a non-English speaking driver. It took about 30 minutes to get to the hotel because of traffic.
The Room
We were booked in the standard room with two twin sized beds which was comfortable and modern One of the most interesting parts of the room that I haven't seen before is the fact that the toilet is in a separate room from the shower. It was definitely convenient because we had two separate sinks and mirrors to get ready at.
The Novotel Lima has a delicious room service menu and also Uber Eats delivers numerous nearby options to the hotel room also. They'll even deliver all the way up to the front door of your room!
The Breakfast Buffet
The Novotel Lima featured a delicious breakfast buffet with rotating options of various Peruvian favorites every morning. Breakfast was included with our hotel room.
One of the standout options that I really appreciated was the bread selection! Not only were there the basic sliced breads but all kinds of delicious mini baked loaves that paired deliciously with all the different cheese and butter spreads that were available.
The Indoor Pool
Wow to the fact that the hotel has a gorgeous indoor pool! When we stopped by, there was only one solitary
swimmer in the pool. It's heated also, perfect for you to run your laps.
There's also a super clean steam room which we had all to ourselves!
The Gym
The Novotel Lima gym was totally new, featuring the most up to date equipment and gear.
