Ugh I have annoying acne scarred skin from when I popped my pimples uncontrollably as a teenager. As a result, I need primer in my life but that was never brought to my attention until I got into Korean beauty. Primer has definitely been life changing! Not only does it mask the scars and my huge pores more than before, it reduces the shininess of my super oily skin throughout the day. I have to reapply powder much less frequently than before.
This is the primer that I currently use daily, Lioele's Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base. I received it as a a free sample and loved it ever since. I ordered it from Amazon -- it took forever to arrive.

I wanted to post a little comparison here. On the left is TonyMoly's Egg Pore Primer which I will be reviewing soon. Although I am totally obsessed with Tonymoly's golden egg packaging, you can see from the photo that the primer is a bit waxy in consistency. In theory I like this because I have big pores and I want heavy coverage to mask that. However, I don't notice a big difference between the coverage of both primers and the Tonymoly primer definitely feels heavier on the face and you need a lot more of it to cover your whole face as compared to the Lioele.
What I really love about the Lioele primer is that a little goes a long way. That little drop on my hand below (to the right) can cover my entire face. I feel like the tube of primer that I have could last me half a year.

I really love the shimmery consistency left by the primer, it brightens the face a bit.
