I don't have great skin, I had a lot of breakouts growing up and I was terrible about popping pimples so I have some light scarring on my skin and huge pores!
We've reviewed lighter Korean cushion foundations and regular Korean foundations in the past and tried out many of of them like the Etude House Any Cushion, but I hadn't yet tried Hera's UV Mist Cushion.
PACKAGING
I ordered the Hera UV Mist from Amazon and it arrived in just a couple of days. It's packaged in a sizable box. I like the elegant look of the package.
I just bought the original HERA cushion to save a couple of bucks. There is an updated version of the product available though, the HERA UV Mist Cushion - Ultra Moisture
HERA UV Mist Cushion - Ultra Moisture was released all 2014 and includes these extra goodies:
- 4.2 Times More Enhanced Moisture : It's way more moisturizing as compared to the UV Mist Cushion.
- Long-lasting Moisture and Glow : Camellia Oil is is added to sooth skin and provide antioxidants.
- Lasting in harsh weather conditions : The UV Mist - Ultra Moisture also contains Achillea extracts to protect skin.
COVERAGE
I chose C23 - Cool Beige Cover as my shade. The UV Mist Cushion only comes in two colors, C21- Cool Vanilla Cover. The "Cover" shade provides heavier coverage. The foundation also comes in N21 and N22, for more natural coverage.

My precious kitten Hammy is my official makeup inspector, he has to examine every piece of makeup to make sure that it's safe before I use it.
I don't really like the applicator, I find that the little cloth handle on the back rubs against my skin and it's annoying.
I love this compact! I'm a heavy coverage foundation kind of girl and this cushion foundation gives me heavy coverage without feeling heavy on my skin.
I don't really understand the design of cushion foundations though. They are fashioned like a compact so I assume that they are made to be portable, carried with you throughout the day in your purse. Hera's UV Mist promises to last 12 hours, which it does. I only use the foundation in the morning, I don't need to reapply it throughout the day. Instead, I'll just powder as needed.
