The Hotel Indigo Bali, Seminyak Beach opened just a year ago in July 2017 and it definitely feels super hip and modern. Located in the heart of Seminyak it feels brand-new in the best way possible and is a 289-room resort, located on Mesari Beach. The entire property is inspired by the local neighborhood, as is the same with all Hotel Indigo properties. The entire property spans 4.7 hectares and the entire grounds are beautifully landscaped.

Our Room
We were booked for two nights in the Oasis room with a king bed. I loved the Balinese style design elements incorporated throughout the room. Right inside the entrance of the room is a full length mirrors. I stay at a lot of luxury properties and I think that many of them forget the importance of a full length mirror! It's essential for a girl like me 🙂
I've never had a ring light mirror in a hotel room before, I loved it so much that I now know that I need to get one for the house! I adore the fact that there was a seated vanity area, so ideal for putting on the makeup, with another huge mirror.
The room also comes equipped with a very spacious closet, with ample room to store all luggage and hang up all clothing.
Again, Hotel Indigo is always thinking of the guests' comfort, providing coffee mugs AND expresso cups and a selection of different sized water cups for drinks.
The Bathroom
Huge shower, with gorgeous tiled design.
All hotels should be required to have a rainforest style shower head 🙂
The Balcony
The entire Hotel Indigo Bali hotel room was spacious in every way, from the closets, to the shower, even the balcony allows for ample space to rest, relax, and luxuriate in all the views.
The Tree Bar
The Tree Bar features a speakeasy vibe and a BALIXOLOGIST on site making homemade drinks featuring local delicacies from the island.
The Adults Only Pool
Loving these pool-side day beds, which are first come first serve!
Stunning pool, almost looks like its for decoration only!
The Buffet
One of the memorable parts of our stay at the Hotel Seminyak Beach was definitely the buffet. The buffet is located in the Hotel Indigo's Makase restaurant. There are seven total dining options on the property and a few more still to open.
I really wanted to try Hotel Indigo's "home delivery" experience, a custom lunch box tiffin served in room service but I ran out of time! I did get a to try a nearby cooking class and fish market tour, which I totally recommend taking if you are staying at The Indigo Bali!
On to the buffet....most buffets at hotels in Asia area great, but this one definitely stood out.
Instead of self pour fruit juices, there was a plethora of fruit juices, already poured in these stylish glass bottles. You can have your basic apple juices and orange juices of course, but there were also more exotic juice options such as guava juice, and watermelon juice. There was also a fresh juicing station, where you can have the attendant create a juice mix for you from fresh fruits, which would be delivered to your table.
Balinese and Asian style dishes that changed daily.
Toppings for Chinese porridge
The noodle bar, right next to this station was the egg station where you could order omelettes and whatever egg dish your heart desires.
The charcuterie selection was the best that I have ever seen in an Asian hotel and really anywhere in the world. Have you ever seen duck leg and smoked fish charcuterie on offer?!
Loving that donut display!
There are also tons of places that you can eat at nearby, make sure to check out our guide on avoiding and treating Bali Belly if you aren't familiar with eating Asian street food!
I loved staying at the Hotel Indigo in Bali! It was totally cozy, felt brand spanking new and was just ultra cool!
I was a guest of the Hotel Indigo Bali; as always, all opinions are my own.
