I am missing the Jamahal so much already, it is definitely one of the best properties that I have stayed at all over the world. First of all, it's an adults only resort and is the perfect couples getaway. It's an award winning resort located right in the heart of the lovely Jimbaran Bay, just 400 meters away from the beach.
The entire property consists of twelve 1-2 bedroom villas, there is a gorgeous main pool, award-winning spa, gym and private beach club. Even when every single villa is booked, you feel like you're the only guest on the property.
Did I mention that there are two staff members on duty for each guest? Staying at The Jamahal Private Resort and Spa is truly a luxury experience.
One of the standout highlights of Jamahal is spa....
The Best Massage in Jimbaran Bali
We were treated to a truly luxurious, 90 minute couples massage. We were staying at the Master Villa, which is literally two steps away from the spa.
We experienced the Jamahal Massage, their signature treatment which starts with a foot bath and a combination of traditional Balinese, Japanese, and Polynesian massage techniques. This treatment features pressure and skin rolling techniques and long relaxing massage strokes. It was heavenly!
Before the treatment, our massage attendants allowed us to choose from three different scents of oils to be used during our massage.

The Master Pool Villa
The Master Villa was absolutely breathtaking. It consists of two adjoining villas, meant for two couples to vacation together. I'll let the photos speak for themselves
The Master Pool Villa Suite Entrance
The Pool
The pool in Jamahal's Master Villa is huge and absolutely breathtaking. Surrounding by lush greenery, I felt like royalty enjoying my breakfast by the pool.
Bedroom
The master bedroom is spacious, with a stunning view of the private patio area filled with a huge koi pond. There must have been 50 koi fish in that pond. I fed the fish some bread and they went absolutely wild, eating the bread crumbs from my hand.
Bathroom
The bathroom was even larger than the master bedroom. The centerpiece was this elaborate, stone carved artwork fitted with a spa bathtub.
It's hard to see since the bathroom is so huge but in the corner is the rainforest style shower head
Even the toilet has killer tropical views in this suite.
Living Room
Kitchen
Check out the view from the dining table.
The food at the Jamahal is first-rate but if you decide that you want to cook something yourself, this villa is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen.
This dining table is definitely meant for entertaining.
Meals
All the food served at the Jamahal Private Resort & Spa not only tasted delicious but featured mouth-watering presentations. The food is homemade and locally sourced. See a full menu here
Breakfast
Make sure that you order the Crabcake Eggs Benedict when at the Jamahal Private Resort & Spa!
Dinner
There's quite an extensive menu that you can order from but I would recommend the set menu, which comes with bread, soup, an entree (Balinese and Western), and dessert.
I'm not normally a fan of Tom Yum soup but I ate every last bite of this soup. As you can see, the prawns were huge and there were generous amounts of shiitake mushrooms inside.
The Balinese option included a traditional fish dish which was very flavorful. I especially liked the greens that were served alongside the dish, I had never had them before.
My boyfriend is quite a picky eater but he loved the chicken cordon bleu, it was served with a side of yellow rice
Our meal ended with quite a decadent chocolate cake.
Private Beach
The private beach is located just 400 meters away from the resort. We opted to walk over, in order to exercise off all the delicious food that we ate but you can take a shuttle over also.

Jimbaran Fish Cafes
Jimbaran Bay is famous for it's fish and seafood cafes because of its vicinity to the fish market. Many of the restaurants have fresh fish for your selection, it's recommended that you show up before 5PM to get the best selection. Another budget option is that you can just purchase your fish at the market and fry it up at one of the grills located right outside the restaurant.
We just walked along the beach and picked the crowded restaurant that we saw and it was fantastic and the prices were super affordable. It was so romantic just enjoying dinner right on the sand!
Local Food
If you want to sample local food, just walk outside of the resort! We simply turned left and were delighted to find this little hole in the wall called Ayam Bakar. We ordered the chicken and it was roasted over charcoal right in front of the restaurant. So good!
