Wondering what beauty products to pack for your next trip? Here are the top 10 beauty essentials that will help you survive traveling.
1. Argan Oil
Argan oil is perfect for traveling because of its multi-functionality. Skip the moisturizer, hair serum, and eye make up remover; Argan oil can be used as all of these items! My all time favorite is the Kate Blanc Argan Oil.
2. Waterproof Makeup
If you plan on wearing make up while traveling, stick to anything water proof and/or long wearing. Chances are, you will end up sweating, sleeping, or swimming, and its best to wear make up that will last as long as possible. Here are some of my favorite water proof & long wearing products, all of which are drugstore products! Woohoo!
Foundation: Revlon Colorstay
Lipstick: Color Pop Matte Liquid Lipsticks
Eyeliner: Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner
3. Sunscreen
SPF 30+While this may be an obvious one, sometimes we may forget to pack or wear sun screen. Even if you aren’t going to a beach destination, its still important to wear sun lotion while outside. My favorite brand of sunscreen is Neutrogena because the products aren’t greasy and sticky, like a lot of other sun screens are.
4. Hair Mask
I didn’t start incorporating these into my travel beauty routine until recently, but I’m sure glad I did. Hair can become dry and damaged while you’re out traveling in the elements, like salt water or air pollution. The hair mask saved my hair from horrible damage after I forgot to pack a comb and was left with matted, finger combed hair in Croatia. I love the Garnier hair mask-it makes my hair feel soooo silky after getting out of the shower.
5. Mini Deodorant
I always pack a travel-size deodorant in my travel handbag. Again, traveling tends to make us a little sweaty, and no one wants to sit next to the person on the flight with horrible B.O.....
6. Blotting Sheets
Remove any excess oil on the go with blotting sheets! As I said before, traveling can get pretty sweaty, and your face will probably be a little oiler than usual. Prevent breakouts and get rid of shine by carrying these in your travel handbag. I find the Clean & Clear oil removing sheets to work the best.
7. Make up Removing Wipes
These are great for quickly removing make up. Try the Aveeno Ultra Calming Makeup-Removing Wipes, which do a great job at removing makeup without irritating your skin.
8. Dry Shampoo
This is a necessity for traveling, especially if you will be camping or “roughing it”. Dry shampoo absorbs the oil buildup on your scalp, so your hair wont look greasy and/or smell bad after a missed shower or two.
9. Epilator
10. Under Eye Gel Patches
Traveling can be exhausting, and your under eye circles will show it. I like to use these gel patches after arriving to my destination to freshen up and help get rid of any under eye puffiness or darkness. They feel so soothing on your tired eyes, and will help you feel rejuvenated after a long flight. Try the Boscia Sake Brightening Hydrogel Eye Masks, which is paraben free and filled with antioxidants.

Thank you, Kerry, for your reminder. Next time when I travel, I’ll add three more items from your list I forget to take with me.
