Cetaphil® is a trusted brand for sensitive skin, in fact, it’s the most recommended skincare brand by dermatologists. While I still personally suffer from oily and problem skin today, it was quite a bit more severe in high school. I remember my doctor recommended Cetaphil as an affordable and effective brand that could easily be purchased at local stores such as Target. It offers great results and is safe to use daily without stripping the skin and helps to keep your skin plump and moisturized.
You can pick up Cetaphil® Daily Hydrating Lotion, Cetaphil® Rich Hydrating Night Cream with Hyaluronic Acid and Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser at your local Target in the face care aisle. I went to the one in West Hollywood on La Brea.
You can also find Cetaphil® Gentle Makeup Remover in the face care aisle in Target!
Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Lotion
This daily lotion features Hyaluronic Acid which instantly hydrates dry skin and holds in the moisture. It's totally oil-free and is light on your skin. Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Lotion gives you instant, intense hydration and easily absorbs into your skin. It's great to use before your regular morning makeup routine. Its unique formulation is ideal for very dry skin but works well with any skin type and is non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and fragrance-free. This is best used after cleansing your skin with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.
Cetaphil Rich Hydrating Night Cream
I am a huge fan of night creams! This rich and soothing night cream helps to protect your skin’s moisture barrier. It helps your skin recover and gently nourishes overnight, so you'll wake up with soft, smooth and plump skin. Hyaluronic Acid is featured here also, along with Pro-Vitamin Complex and Olive Extract. Apply gently with your fingers at night after cleansing with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.
How to Pamper Yourself in the Bath
To feel beautiphil I like to try to pamper myself regularly with at home spa days. It’s so important to keep my skin moisturized and hydrated for an even and glowing complexion. It’s super easy to set up a spa day at home. Here is my personal step-by-step process:
Select your favorite playlist
For a relaxing spa day, a great playlist is essential. I’ll just pull up my favorite playlist on my phone and listen to the most relaxing music that I can meditate and unwind to.
Light the candles
The ambiance in my bathroom is really important during my DIY spa day. I love to fill the room with scented candles featuring relaxing scents such as Lavender, Chamomile and/or Lilac.
3. Brew some Tea
Not only do I want to hydrate my skin from the outside during my spa day, I want to keep my body hydrated as well. I recommend setting up a gorgeous pitcher of water, filled with fruits and lemons and ice or brewing your favorite cup of relaxing tea: Lavender, Lemon Balm or Chamomile are all great.
4. Draw a Bath
Draw a bath to your ideal temperature. I personally love my bath to be super hot as it feels like it opens up my pores more. I also like to include tons of soap so that I get plenty of foam in my bath.
5. Start with super clean skin.
Before I get settled in I want my skin to be squeaky clean! Using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser to wash my skin, I start my spa day with a clean slate.
6. Deep Hair Treatment
I hardly ever have the time to give myself a deep hair treatment, but an at home spa day is the perfect opportunity to treat my hair. Just slather on your favorite hair treatment and wrap your hair up in a towel while you spa!
7. Mask Time!
Face masks are great to get some extra moisturization in. Since you’re gonna be here for a while put on your favorite face mask and sit back and relax!
8. Sit back and relax!
I’m always prepared for spa day with a meditation that I want to try out, a new book, or even a movie to watch on my phone. Choose your favorite lazy day activity it’s the perfect day to catch up on the latest magazines or readings!
9. Moisturize Skin
At the end of my spa day I like to use Cetaphil Rich Hydrating Night Cream. Leave this rich cream on all night for beautiful, silky skin the next day!

These are all great tips- I especially love the tip to chill out to music or a book- having a plan before I hit the tub is where I always mess up! I need to plan a spa day soon, my pores are in dire need! #client
Spa day should be every day!!
Love this article! Self care is so important. Thanks for posting this, I’m definitely using some of these tips as I recover from surgery.
Hope you feel better soon!!
Thank you for sharing the tips! I have never tried Cetaphil because … I don’t like the package (I know it’s so nonsense) I’ll give it a try, it seems very suitable for my skin type.
It really does work amazing!
Beauty care has become a difficult task with busy schedule. Thank you for the tips.
