We had the most amazing trip to Fiji on a five day trip to Savusavu at the Wavi Island Villa. Thanks so much to Josh and Shabana for the amazing hospitality! Any guests to Wavi Island are hosted by this amazing couple and they'll take you on the full Fiji experience throughout your stay.
The private villa features 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a private pool and full kitchen and living room with all the amenities. During our stay we had the complete run of the island to ourselves. The villa has a luxe, private view of the Koro Sea and can only be accessed by a private bridge. Guests have access to a private reef and bay, where they can paddle board, snorkel, hunt for uni, and take the jet skis out.
Coconuts and papayas abound everywhere and the hosts will even set you up with your own private lovo (Fiji's version of a luau)
There is also a private chef available, preparing the best of Fijian specialties!
To learn more about the villa and to enter to win a 5 million villa of your own go to Win a Fiji Villa!
There are also lots for purchase and the Wavi Island team will work with all buyers to create and build customized villas from scratch.
Wavi Island Map
The Island
To reach Savusavu from Los Angeles, we first flew into the Nadi International airport, then took a small plane for a one hour flight from Nadi to Savusavu Island. Once we landed, it was about a 10-15 minute drive to Wavi Island.
Wavi Island can be accessed by car via a scenic drive down a 450 meters long low bridge.Wavi Island is 27 acres in size.
The Villa
The Pool
The luxurious pool is located between the master bedroom, living room and guest bedrooms. The set up is perfect for either a family or two to three couples on vacation. It could also be the ultimate party house!
The property overlooks stunning views of the water all around. There is also a private area where you can walk down to a cove by the beach.
The Master Bedroom
There are two separate entrances leading to the master bedroom. This entrance below is from the pool area and the other entrance can be accessed from the living room.
There are gorgeous views from every area of the master bedroom, from the bedroom itself, to the bathroom, and even from the shower.
One of my favorite features for this recessed bathtub, with ocean views.
His and her rainforest shower heads.
The Guest Bedrooms
The two guest rooms are located right next to each other with a shared bathroom.
The Kitchen
The villa features a fully stocked kitchen and dining room, perfect for all your cooking needs or for the villa's private chef, who we highly recommend booking for your stay!
Private Chef
Here are a sampling of some of the meals that Wavi Island's private chef prepared for us! By the way, we highly recommend the delicious food of Fiji. Here are the top Fiji foods that you should try!
Chef Osea was a master at sauces and all the meals were to die for, featuring a starter, multiple entrees to try, and a dessert.

Lovo Feast
Wavi put together our very own Lovo feast for us to enjoy which was truly a treat. We helped out in the process of preparing the meal from laying down the leaves, to the preparing of dishes and of course eating the food. Here's a step by step guide on how to put together a lovo feast!
Paddleboarding
The bay is quiet and calm, ideal for a paddle boarding adventure!
